John has seviced my boat a 40hp mercury 4.7 meter runabout the last couple of years. His knowledge is impeccable and it shows with explaining things to a laymen. I like that his suggestions just make sence.
I called him from the middle of western port bay there were no boat near me and my engine would not start. He told me to calm down and we went through a bit of a check list. Turns out i didn't have full choke on. I said id spend a few buck in his shop as i was ready to call the coastguard.
John was very helpful and knowledgable on my Johnson when no one else would help. He fixed my boat motor up ready for 2 days before Christmas, will be going back for every service and all mechanical works, fair pricing too!
